Dylan
   In Celtic myth a sea god, the brother of Lleu. As soon as he was born he was said to have plunged into the sea and swum like a fish, and accordingly was called Eilton (Eil Don), or son of the wave. The word dile is an old Irish term for flood, while, according to Wormius, Endil was another name for him as a sea god. Dylan was eventually slain by Govannon, whose relationship to him seems to have been purely mythological, Dylan being a chief of the Celtic invaders from the sea, and Govannon being an artificer, possibly a dwarf and a member of the pre-Celtic clans of Britain. His daughter was Viviane.
